The E-Rod® is a fundamental rethink of how electric reels are powered on the water. Using proprietary battery technology engineered in-house, we've built the power source directly into the rod itself, eliminating the tangle of cords and the bulk of strap-on batteries that have long been the compromise of electric fishing. From micro electric jigging reels to high-end deep drop setups and every rig in between, the E-Rod® delivers the power your reel needs without any of the hardware clutter. An internal computer continuously monitors every aspect of battery performance, keeping the experience safe, intuitive, and worry-free. For more than three years, we've refined our use of advanced carbon-composite materials to produce some of the lightest, strongest rods on the market. The E-Rod® family ranges from nimble e-jigging rigs to ultra-strong, highly sensitive deep-drop rods, with models engineered for the specific demands of each fishery. Already fishing a trolling or deep-drop rod you trust? You don't have to give it up. The E-Rod® HD Series battery-butt mounts to any existing rod equipped with a #2 or #4 ferrule, bringing the same integrated power and intelligent battery management to the setup you already love. Whichever route you take, the result is the same: untethered, all-day electric fishing.

The E-Rod® features integrated battery technology which completely eliminates the need for cords or bulky strap-on batteries. An internal computer closely monitors all aspects of battery use, ensuring a safe and user-friendly experience.

System Check at Startup

Each time the system powers on, the battery management system performs a full diagnostic check. This ensures all internal components are functioning correctly before use. Any irregularities are identified immediately to prevent performance issues. This startup check helps maintain reliability and user confidence.

Overcharge & Discharge Protection

The system actively prevents the battery from being overcharged or drained beyond safe limits. This protection helps extend overall battery lifespan and maintain consistent performance. It also reduces the risk of overheating or damage during charging cycles. Users can operate the device with confidence knowing safeguards are always in place.

Short Circuit Protection

Built-in protection immediately detects and responds to short circuit conditions. The system shuts down power flow to prevent damage to internal components. This rapid response enhances overall safety during operation and charging. It also protects both the battery and connected electronics from unexpected faults or water intrusion.

Self Governing to 24 amps

The battery system automatically regulates current output to a maximum of 24 amps. This ensures optimal performance without exceeding safe operating limits. By managing power delivery internally, the system prevents strain on the battery. This results in more consistent operation and improved longevity.

Internal Cell Balancing

The battery management system continuously balances charge levels across individual cells. This helps maintain even performance and prevents uneven wear. Balanced cells improve overall efficiency and extend battery life. It also ensures reliable output throughout each use cycle.

Proprietary Power Management System

A custom-designed power management system optimizes how energy is delivered and consumed. It intelligently adjusts performance based on usage conditions. This results in improved efficiency and longer run times. The system is engineered specifically to support the E-ROD experience.

Fast Charging

Remaining Battery Indicator

With its remaining power indication, you'll always know how much power is left in your Dominion E-Rod. A green light indicates 70-100 percent power remaining, blue indicates 30-70 percent, red indicates 10-30 percent, and flashing red indicates 0-10 percent remaining.
