We recommend this rod for those looking to fish with a variety of techniques in depths from 50-1500 ft. The E-rod Versit works best with jigs between 150 and 300 grams. When bottom fishing it works best with lead weights up to 28oz.

We absolutely love the new rod. My son caught a swordfish on it with a jig… I had no idea that was even possible! The e-rod is so much more convenient when you have to move around the boat.
Both rods preformed amazing. The verist rod was fun jigging up to 20oz in 700-800ft. The gulf cost rod handled lead from 1lb up to 48oz up to 900ft with no issues.
