This rod is a hammer . Sensitive with a strong backbone . Just bought another for my guest .
This setup is a game changer for slow pitch jigging. Great concept and design on the battery built into the rod butt. I plan on purchasing the bent butt/battery setup for my larger electric reels as well.
Both rods preformed amazing. The verist rod was fun jigging up to 20oz in 700-800ft. The gulf cost rod handled lead from 1lb up to 48oz up to 900ft with no issues.
Have not had a chance to use it yet but plan to this next weekend. Ordering and Shipping process was flawless. Can wait to try it out.

Nice rod easier than messing with cords and external batteries. Came in just in time for a charter trip with a young boy with a broken arm so he was still able to fish. Will likely be getting a few more.
