Ideal for light bottom fishing, jigging, and hand held deep dropping, the Dominion E-Rod Versit is our most affordable and versatile E-Rod. We recommend this rod for those looking to fish with a variety of techniques in depths from 50-1500 ft. The E-Rod Versit works best with jigs between 150 and 300 grams and when bottom fishing it works best with lead weights up to 28oz.

Specifications

  • Assembled Length: 77.5 in
  • Line Rating (Braid/Mono): 15 - 30 lb
  • Jig Weight: 150 - 400 g
  • Max Lead Weight (for Bottom Fishing): 28 oz
  • Rod Action: Moderate
  • Rod Power: Medium

Features

  • Carbon Wrapped Composite Blank: A composite core wrapped in carbon fiber gives the Versit a versatile action that adapts from light jigging to heavier bottom work. The hybrid construction delivers carbon's sensitivity with added composite dampening for all-day fishability.
  • Eva Grip: Lightweight and grippy, the EVA foam handle delivers all-day comfort even in wet conditions. Its non-slip texture gives you confident control whether you're jigging deep or locked into a long fight.
  • Graphite Reel Seat: The lightweight graphite reel seat keeps total rod weight to a minimum while providing a secure, corrosion-proof lockdown for your reel. Its slim profile integrates cleanly into the Versit's streamlined design.
  • Alps HR Guides and Tip: Fitted with ALPS HR guides and a matching tip, the Versit delivers consistent line control and smooth retrieves on every drop. Built for reliability, these guides stand up to the saltwater environment without compromise.
  • Acid Wrapped Guides: Acid wrapped guides (or spiral wrapped guides) are when guides start on top of the casting rod (for the reel) and spiral around the blank to the bottom, combining the advantages of casting and spinning rods. This design eliminates rod twist/torque under heavy loads, significantly reducing angler fatigue and increasing stability when fighting large fish.
